Tip Tuesday

Okay so it's not a tip. It's an awesome -must try-! I found the idea on Pinterest. It tried them tonight was excited to share: S'mores with Peeps. I call them "Sm'eeps." (Remember you heard the name Sm'eeps here first) :) I microwaved them for 15 seconds before putting the top graham cracker on.

When I first got married I didn't know how to cook a bunch of things. Spaghetti was a weekly meal. Luckily I've collected lots of good recipes over the years but still love me some spaghetti. Try this Spaghetti and Meatball Soup, what do you think? Pretty good, huh?

When I got married 10 years ago, (March 11, 2002) I received a 'wedding kit.' It was a light purple bag given to me when we registered to get married that the county(?) gave me with coupons, recipes, samples, and so on. Reynolds Wrap had a little booklet in there with coupons and recipes. This Italian Chicken and Vegetables recipe was from the booklet.
We have an 8 year old daughter and 3 year old son. I let them help make this because it's so simple. :)

Looking for something to do with all those pecans you picked and cracked open? My Grandma decorates frosted cakes with them. I always loved going to Grandma's house as a kid and sitting out in her backyard cracking and eating pecans. Our first house that my husband and I bought was in a tiny town that had tons of pecan trees. We to would sit out on the deck and eat 'em. We live in a different tiny town now and we went down to a local pecan farm and bought 2 pecan trees to have in our yard.
By the way I say "pick-ons" not 'pea-cans.' How do you say it?

How do you use your pecans? I use 'em in homemade pies and I use 'em to coat the outside of a cheeseball. Texas Pecan Cheeseball makes a great appetizer paired with some crackers or crunchy breadsticks.

This is a -ripped it out of a magazine- recipe by Rachel Ray. My friends and I would have lunch dates where we would go to eachother's houses and cook a new recipe together. One day when I hosted, I chose to make Pasta, Trees, and Cheese. In case you're wanting to do your own lunch dates, the host picks the dish and buys the stuff or the friends coming over can each bring an ingredient.

Meat lover? You can add cooked diced ham to this recipe.
